SANParks’ Honorary Rangers have put together a special treat for 4X4 enthusiasts this September, with three special routes in the Wilderness section of the Garden Route National Park being made available for two days.
The routes – usually restricted to the public – will be opened on the 23rd and 24th of September, coinciding with Heritage Day.
Wilderness is known as one of the gems of the Garden Route, and SANParks says the trails are filled with “indigenous forests, fynbos and stunning mountain vistas”.
Vehicles will depart from a 4X4 Exhibition being held at the Wilderness Common. Spaces are limited, and each vehicle must accommodate a trained Honorary Ranger.
The event is envisioned to become an annual celebration of 4X4 action, while simultaneously highlighting the supreme natural beauty of the Garden Route.
“For more information on the routes, or if you wish to rent an exhibition stand, please email Derek Oldfield at email@example.com or Barbara Little at firstname.lastname@example.org respectively,” adds SANParks.
