Some incredible drone footage of frolicking dolphins in De Kelders is going viral on Facebook, and it’s stunning.
Coming just days after the devastating storm that ravaged much of the Cape coastline, it’s great to see that the marine mammals’ spirits haven’t been dampened in the least.
Captured by Gansbaai local Lloyd Koppel, the footage shows a large pod of what are likely to be bottlenose dolphins playing just off the coast.
Nearby Walker Bay is known as one of the best places in the world to see whales from the shore, while Gansbaai itself is notorious for its large population of great white sharks.
