Buenos Aires is too old. Do you want outdoors? Move to Santiago, Chile
");
document.write("If you want outdoorsy life and gaylifestyle. Move to Santiago , Chile. This frantic, scenic, sophisticated, modern and electic 450yo globalised city has the best combination of America and Europe. It has great best-kept secrets, the world biggest urban parks, ski resorts, wineries, mountains and beaches, all at driving distance with superior quality than being locked between the buildings of Buenos Aires.
For Gay-lifestyle: Just go to Bellavista Neighborhood, a popular liberal enclave that is similar to Greenwich Village in NYC. almost 16 blocks of fun with the best discos, cuisine and galleries in town. Which is very popular and liberal enclave similar to Greenwich Village in NYC. You won't see gay flags, but an entire and very discrete street is gay! There are 2 gay restaurmts 2 bars, 1 pub and 2 saunas! 1 lesbian disco and 2 gay discos in less than 3 blocks.
Santiago is an exciting eclectic city.. in some areas look like europe and other look too American. Santiago has recently named as among the world's Top 5 Emerging Metropolis.
Every year, Santiago has a festive summertime in January, february and March. January because its the virtual cultural Capital of the world with 100s of Theatres from over 30 nations doing indoor and incredible outdoor performances. So February is the month of festivals for Chile (and carnivals for brazil). The first or second weekend of March is the worldfamous Wine Harvest Party in Santa Cruz, in the upscale colchagua valley.
Another reason is that Santiago is sunny and breezy in sumertime (mediterranean regime). Buenos Aires is horrible in summer: steamy, stormy and hot. So not recommendable Buenos Aires in Summer.
Low season for Santiago: May15th- Sept15th, due most tourist go for skiing in Andes.
