British Airways has launched a World Offer to London with fares to Europe starting from R3990, valid for travel until September 22.

Low-season World Traveller fares, for travel between November 1 - December 3, 2006 and from January 14 - March 26, 2007 are R3990 from Johannesburg and R4250 from Cape Town. The high-season fares, for travel between December 4, 2006 - January 13, 2007 are R6310.

The World Offer also includes British Airways? premium economy cabin, World Traveller Plus, where fares to London are R11 000 from Johannesburg and R13 000 from Cape Town for travel between November and March. These fares are subject to applicable taxes, fees, charges and surcharges.

Lin Glass, British Airways General Manager for South Africa, Mauritius and the Seychelles says that while the airline is putting on additional flights between Cape Town and London this summer season, it anticipates strong inbound demand and recommends that passengers wanting the visit the UK over Christmas and the New Year book soon.

"There are more seats available, but at these prices it?s unlikely that there will be for long, so we?d advise people to book soon before the tourism season gets into full swing."
