Malaysia Airlines has completed the latest phase of its new strategic plan with its induction into the oneworld alliance last week.
The carrier has marked the oneworld introduction with a promotional Visit Malaysia pass. It provides discounts on regular published fares for domestic flights bought in conjunction with a flight on any oneworld carrier into the country.
Currently three of oneworld’s member airlines serve three points in Malaysia, with Cathay Pacific, Japan Airlines and Royal Jordanian flying to Kuala Lumpur, Cathay Pacific operating to Penang and its Dragonair regional affiliate to Kota Kinabalu.
