Air Nigeria – formerly known as Virgin Nigeria – will relaunch flights to South Africa from 17 June, with three services per week between Lagos and Johannesburg.
Flights will depart from Lagos every Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday at 11.50pm with arrival in Johannesburg at 6.50am in the morning.
Return flights are offered each Monday, Wednesday and Friday, departing Johannesburg at 9.15am and arrival at Lagos at 2.15pm. In addition to Johannesburg, Air Nigeria has commenced scheduled daily services to London-Gatwick.
The Johannesburg flights will be operated with a recently acquired modern Airbus A330-200 aircraft in two class configurations of 24 Business seats and 244 Economy class seats. The aircraft is equipped with iPADs for entertainment in the business class cabin, making Air Nigeria one of the first African airlines to introduce this high-end in-flight service.
Air Nigeria currently operates domestic and regional services to more than 15 destinations in Nigeria and the West and Central African region.
Air Nigeria is represented in South Africa by Aviareps. For more information, visit www.myairnigeria.com.
