British Airways has stolen the show with its dazzling new in-flight safety video, turning a usually mundane experience into something brilliant.
The video stars a host of household names, including Gordon Ramsey, Rowan Atkinson and Sir Ian McKellen.
‘Directed’ by British comedian Chabuddy G., it also features the likes of Gillian Anderson, Thandie Newton, Warwick Davis, Roby Brydon, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Jim Broadbent, and singer Jess Glynne.
The video isn’t just a ploy to get people to actually watch their in-flight safety videos – it’s also a fundraiser for “Flying Start”, a partnership between the airline and Comic Relief.
“It’s extremely important to us that customers engage with our safety video, and involving some of the nation’s most well-known personalities has given us the chance to create something fun that we hope people will watch from start to finish - and remember,” says CEO Alex Cruz.
“We’ve worked with Comic Relief since 2010 and our customers have already helped us generate £16.5 million for great causes. We hope the new video will enable us to exceed our goal of raising £20 million by 2020.”
Naturally, Mr Bean absolutely steals the show, but you can decide for yourself which British celeb is cut out for the cabin crew:
