Some highlights from this year's tour include '20 Seconds of Joy', winner of the 'Best Film on Mountain Sport' and the 'People’s Choice Award'. '20 Seconds of Joy' follows Karina Hollekim as she pushes herself to the limits in the extreme sport of BASE-jumping. Also look out for 'Trial and Error', a short film that showcases some of the most acrobatic mountain biking imaginable. These are just two of the collection of eight superb short films.

The BANFF Mountain Film World Tour runs from 29 August to 4 September 2008, and is screened at selected Ster Kinekor cinemas in Cape Town, Johannesburg, Pretoria and Durban.
