As the weather warms up it brings with it earlier sunrises and longer days in the Mother City... along with the re-opening of the City Sightseeing Night Tour.
The open-top bus company's Night Tour operates from 20 September until 6 May 2013 and starts at the V&A Waterfront (Stop 1), with the bus departing at 6pm until 14 March. From 15 March - 6 May it will depart a little earlier, at 5.30pm.
Taking travellers past all the best night attractions, the bus stops at Signal Hill to watch the sun set over the Atlantic Ocean.
The Night Tour lasts for three hours, and returns to the bus station at the Two Oceans Aquarium in the V&A Waterfront. Unlike the daytime tours, the Night Tour is not a hop-on hop-off service.
Tickets for the Night Tour cost R100, or it is free with a Two-Day ticket. If you buy the Night Tour online you'll receive a R10 discount.
