The castle will be shut from April 3 to April 6 due to Obama's visit to the Czech Republic, the Czech presidency said in a statement Friday.
It said the closure was for "security reasons".
Obama will tour Europe starting on March 31 and ending in the Czech capital Prague on April 5, US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton announced recently.
He is expected to arrive on Prague on the night of April 4 for talks with Czech leaders. The country currently holds the European Union's rotating presidency.
He will also visit Britain, where a G20 summit is taking place, as well as France and Germany, for a meeting of NATO leaders. Special EU-US talks will also be held in the Czech Republic.
Some 2500 Czech police will be mobilised for the visit.
