Data from flight booking service Cheapflights has shown that there is an increase in interest in travel in Africa, with the site also naming the most-searched African destinations.
"Searches to African countries are on the rise, with travellers gravitating towards these destinations. But it's not just international travellers that are flocking to the continent - our data shows that travel within African countries is also strong," Managing Director Andrew Shelton said.
But which countries are they most interested in?
Cheapflights created lists showing the top searches for international travellers as well as the top African destinations searched for by South Africans.
In terms of international travellers, UK and German travellers account for 14% and 13% of searches for African destinations.
The data also found that international tourists are most interested in South Africa, with Cape Town and Johannesburg taking the top positions in the list.
Morocco also attracts significant interested and of course Mauritius features in the list.
